Meet our teachers
These are our teachers of the tuba and euphonium music festival during IV Numskull Brass Festival Caudete: Sergio Carolino (principal tuba of the Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música (Portugal) and Internacional Yamaha Artist) and Joaquín Díaz (euphonium soloist of Vitoria-Gasteiz Municipal Wind Band).
Sergio Carolino
Principal tuba of Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música and Yamaha International Artist.
Portuguese tuba player and Yamaha International Artist, Sérgio Carolino, is one of the most acclaimed tuba players in the international scene, with a constant activity as a soloist and teacher in several music festivals, conservatories and universities all over the world (from Europe to Australia, passed through Asia and North and South America).
Joaquín Díaz
Euphonium soloist of Vitoria-Gasteiz Municipal Wind Band.
He has been tuba soloist of the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra Academy (Milan, Italy) and worked with orchestras like the Zurich Symphony Orchestra and L’Orchestra del Teatro Regio (Turin, Italy). Nowadays, Joaquín is euphonium soloist of the Vitoria-Gasteiz Municipal Wind Band (Spain) and Adams Artist.
